Biological Idea

I wold invent a cure that can cure any sickness. So not only will it make people lives easier people would not need to spend so much money and time looking into and finding so many different cures for many different diseases. When there is one cure for everything it is a lot easier. I would also not only give it to the rich but also to the poor because i feel that it is unfair that unlucky people who lives on the streets don't get a chance to live in life. It will have a big impact on the world because it can cure cancer and many different other diseases that we have not yet find the cures for.

Proactiv Solution - Dr. Katie Rodan and Dr. Kathy Fields

Dr. Katie Rodan and Dr. Kathy Fields are two dermatologists that have helped the skin of many teenagers. They specialize in developing a solution that would clear acne and pimples of people. Eventually, the two dermatologists created the Proactiv Solution, by adding benzoyl peroxide as a main ingredient, and released their new product in 1995. This solution helped many with their acne problem. One person who has prevented further breakouts was Jessica Simpson. Proactiv Solution has also helped many others in the world and is still being used today. It is very helpful to especially teenagers. I think that the creation of Proactiv Solution was a great success and as proved to be beneficial to the world. I also predict that Dr. Katie Rodan and Dr. Kathy Fields will also come up with another great invention that will benefit many others.

The EYES

Today we had Dr. Fong come to our class room and teach us a little more about eyes. She graduated from Berkley and she is the mother of 3 children. 2 of them attend to Mills High School. She described the many parts of the eye and their jobs. She also told us that she can tell a person health from looking at the eyes. Dr. Fong showed us many differnt types of eyes. She showed us how eyes with infectious diseases looked like and how a normal eye looked like
During that day we also dissected a sheep's eye. Although it was very disgusting we still disected it. There were some black juice that came out when we started to cut it. but we soon found the cornea and most of the parts that Dr. Fong told us about. It was a fun experience for us

Flatworms (Phylum)

Phylum: Acoelomates, Platyhelmithes
Classes:Trematoda, Cestoda, Monogenea, Turbellaria

Flatworms, Its class is Phylum they are found in marine, fresh water and damp environments. It is a simple soft bodied in vertebrae. Their body are also ribbon like. animal. There are about 25000 known species. Like all animals flat worms do breathe oxygen they use the interstial fluids to help distribute the nutrients and oxygen because they have no respiratory or circulatory system in their body but they do have a nervous system. Flatworms produce sperm and eggs they can reproduce sexually and asexually. Many of the flatworms are parasitic. There are four types of flat worms Trematoda, Cestoda, Monogenea, and Turbellaria. A common flatworm that we know are known as tapeworms. Most parasitic flatworms feed off their host which is very dangerous for the host. It may also eat smaller life forms some even eat algae to survive.

Evolution

NCSE also known as National Center for Science Education company came to our school and taught us a little more about evolution. A woman named Lousie S. Mead came to our school and told us more. Darwin's idea is correct. The evidence for evolution is overwhelming. There are 5 things that prove that evolution could be real. Biogeography, Comparative Anatomy, Molecular Biology, Fossil Record, and Developmental Biology. There was also a rumor that the continents were all once connected because of the same kind of species in different and continents. They adapted to different species and that is how this word have so many different type of animals. It is also said that everything and everyone have a common ancestor. Humans are mostly related to Chimpanzees, gorillas, and orangutan. Louise told us many things to prove that evolution was real .

Looking into the future

go

Scientist can predict future infections studying something with two parasites in them. When they get together they create a different infection and they can learn from it and if someone gets it later on in the future they can have quick cures or antibodies. Most animals and humans are infected with more than one disease at a time. The diseases can also change when it gets together with another disease.

I think that this can be very important to our future because it can save many lives because we had a longer time to work on this disease or infection. Instead of right away we are given a longer time period instead of working on it instantly when it comes out but i sort of think that to many cures shouldn't be made because balance in the world is very important and it is overpopulating very quickly.
